Ilmsens took part in the City Cycling for Ilmenau for the third time. The campaign is all about leaving your car at home and riding your bike for the environment. A nice side effect is, of course, the positive effect on health.
The focus is also on the bicycle infrastructure of the participating cities: Participating cyclists are encouraged to report deficient cycle paths and submit suggestions for improvement to the RADar! platform.
This year, six Ilmsens employees took part. We cycled a total of 203 kilometres and saved a total of 31.2 kg of CO2. Overall, this put us in 42nd place in our municipality.
Next year, we are planning to top this result 😉
